Burn It All Down #3 – Fire On Ice (2020)

6” x 6” x 1” [plexiglass, epoxy, copper, limited edition print]

Sometimes, transformative change demands unanticipated destruction. This limited-edition photographic sculpture uses salvaged copper, plexiglass, resin, and epoxy to play with the idea of light and shadow, fire and ice.

This series of work is as much about the movement of light and shadow through these pieces as it is about the original photographs themselves. Images here reflect the many angles through which light hits the hardened resin and the variety of shadows cast – an intentional reminder that our perspective is everything.
