Into The Blinding Light #2

6.5″ x 6″ x 2″

plexiglass, limited edition photo print, epoxy, resin, beam clamps

I’m always searching for serenity – and this time, I found my moment of peace in a burst of blinding light, shining through a dew-covered tree in the hours just after sunrise as I walked to my office: a miniature magnifier of all the possibilities on the horizon of one more chance from a new day.

This multi-media sculptural wall-hanging / stand-alone piece combines handmade framing, limited edition original photography print, and layers of epoxy to capture a sense of reflection: not just the moment one fleetingly captures peace, but also our ability to return to that state time and time again.
